I have a total of three templates for this elf bookmark craft. There are one black-and-white template and one colorful template. If you want to make these bookmarks using your choice of colors use the black-and-white templates. There are also two sizes for the bookmark, so pick whichever you like the most.
Step 1:Cut Out Elf Pattern:
When you cut out the patterns for the elf bookmark craft, use cardstock paper to cut out the base and the elf’s hands.
For the rest of the pieces, you can use craft papers.
Glue the elf’s hat’s lace on the top part of the base, leaving 1-2 centimeters gap on the top.
Leave another 2-3 (size of the elf’s head) centimeters gap from the hat’s lace and then glue the elf’s collar.
Step 2: Glue Ears and Hands:
Glue the elf’s two ears on the two sides of the elf’s head. Then, glue the elf’s head in between the hat’s lace and the collar.
Meanwhile, also prepare the hands. Glue the red cuffs with the green sleeves. apply glue only on the top part of the hands, then, glue the hands below the collar.
Step 3: Glue The Buttons and Fringe:
Take three yellow circular buttons and glue them on the elf’s shirt.
Then take the elf’s fringe/bangs and glue t on the forehead aligning with the hat.
Step 4: Glue The Eyes and Nose:
If you are using the black and white template, use a blue or any colored sharpie to fill in the colors of the eyeballs. Glue the eyes on the top part of the elf’s face.
Glue a pink round nose below and in between the two eyes.
Then, glue two rosy pink cheeks on the two sides.
Use a black and pink marker pen to draw the mouth and a smile on the elf bookmark craft.
If you are using the black and white templates, draw outlines on the patterns after cutting them out of colored paper. When you draw outlines the craft’s details pop.
